Whole 30 on the Calendar

Whole 30: Calendar Confirmation

I’m one of those people that likes to looks for signs. Signs of confirmation for something I have been thinking about. On NYE one of our friends was talking about how they were starting Whole 30 on Jan 1. It planted a seed for me to figure out my game plan because over the holidays the scale was doing a slow creep up, up, up and we have a cruise in 2 months! I really debated WHEN to start this program, especially with aLeadership conference coming up next weekend in San Diego! So instead of starting this Sunday, my gut (not my literal gut that was a result of Christmas feasts…hahahaha) was telling me to wait till January 15. (January 15 is a good day. My conference will be over and I am walking/running the Disney Star Wars Half Marathon with a dear friend.) And herein lies my confirmation when accessing my calendar.

First 30: Jan 15 – Feb 13. (Day off for Valentine’s Day! Perfection. And I’ll be a way cheap date with only one glass of wine!)

Second 30: Feb 15 – March 16. (We fly out the morning of March 17 for the cruise!) Sometimes in life, these silly signs make me so happy! Confirmation. Coincidence or a sign of confirmation? Up to you! But for me, I’ll take the sweet little gift!

Cheers (water, not wine) to no dairy, grains, alcohol and processed foods!

Anyone wanna join the whole 30 with me? (Bill has since decided to join me!)

What is the Whole 30?

Check out the Whole 30 website online: http://whole30.com/whole30-program-rules/

Basically it is a hormone reset that aides in inflammation, digestion issues, inability to lose weight, energy, sleep and so much more! (I am not a doctor and only reporting what I have read and will report what I have experienced when Bill and I are finished with our first 30 days and then our second 30 days.
